This is my routine visit to the island of O-kuno-shima. A balmy windless winter day was perfect for a picnic with the island rabbits. Feel the life of our cute little friends and let us not forget the lesson from the past: this is an island where wartime legacies remain. About 35 historical sites are here but are only left as they are. They will crumble over time. Before it happens, we've got to have the message from this idyllic island firmly in our heart and mind.
